Meaningful Beauty Review

I know you have seen the infomercial for Meaningful Beauty with Cindy Crawford because I have many times. I have really wanted to to give this line a try so when I was given the opportunity I jumped at it. I love being able to try new products in exchange for honest reviews!
I wanted to use the Meaningful Beauty product line for enough time to really tell if it has worked for me. I have to say it has really improved the look and feel of my skin. I took before and after photos of my face without makeup (brave I know) so you could see the visible changes yourself. You can see that my skin looks better already without makeup and this is only after two weeks use.
I don't believe in talking up a product that I have been given for review, I tell the truth as all bloggers should do. I don't want to promote products/services that do not live up to what they claim. For me the product has made a visible change in the texture, evenness, and tone of my skin.
Let me tell you what will come in your kit and my opinions of them individually.
Skin Softening Cleanser: I love the way my skin feels after I use this cleanser but for me it doesn't foam and that is something that I like so I see where the product is getting. This is no way effects the function as it does a bang up job in leaving my skin feel cleansed and super soft after use, but I would like a more visual confirmation.
Maintenance 1 day day moisture: Moisturiser for use after morning cleanse, this is great lightweight, absorbs into the skin almost immediately but doesn't feel as though it disappears.
Maintenance 2 Night Fluide: A nighttime fluid to promote a healthy firmness to your skin overnight. This is also lightweight but it stays on the skin a little longer and feels great.
Eyes Eye creme: This is a little tube of antioxidant rich eye treatment that helps reduce puffiness, dark circles, and fine line. LOVE IT for me it really cuts down on the mommy puffiness I often have in the mornings and after a late day.
Masque Facial masque: This is a lovely mask that revives your skin, I really do believe they call it "Facial-In-A-Bottle" for good reason you will feel all those nasty dead skin cells and impurities gone after 20 minutes, another favorite of mine in the line.
Decollete and Neck Creme: Is a special cream designed for use on the neck the most often overlooked area in our facial routines. This is a nice silky thicker formula for use on the neck, I use it a little lower on my upper chest as well it feels wonderful when applied!
Glowing Serum: Oh this is my favorite its an instant pickup, To me it should be called nap in a bottle! You look instantly recharged with just a tiny bit. Just use a bit in the morning after cleansing but before moisturizing and you are set.
Over all I really like the line. You can get the introductory 30 day kit for only $29.95 + S&H. Now add up all the "drug store" facial care items you have bought or do buy and tell me what you spend. And don't worry if for some reason you don't like it or you don't feel that it works well for you, they offer an UNCONDITIONAL 60 day Money back guarantee(excluding shipping) just send the containers back within 60 days of receipt to receive your purchase price back. SO what do you have to loose?
I was not compensated in any way for my post. I was sent product for the purpose of writing my review. My opinions are honest. My results and my opinions my differ with yours.** Update as I still gets tons of emails regarding this review. I used the products until they were gone. As I stated for me personally they did improve the texture of my skin. Had this product been/be available for purchase in a retail store I would still be using it, however the only way to get it is to order online and I am not one that will even take a change on a company sending me products at intervals as I have heard stories of other and apparently this company as well of sending them even when attempting to cancel auto delivery. I continue to publish all comments made for this product and the service as they come in (unless you are obviously a spammer of your own product) so that you my readers can make an informed choice to use or not to use the products.**

Hi,
I have an award for you on my blog! Come check it out : )
http://mom2boys-mommyworld.blogspot.com
You were provided with the products.
Did you continue to purchase them after the freebies were gone?
Honestly, I can't see a difference...no offense. Ive been interested in these products for years. $50CDN a month is still hard to justify.
three fold no I havent purchased anymore as I still have some left! I use very little product on my face. Would I purchase it, yes IF it were available in stores I do no like ordering products over the phone. I can understand the money aspect for sure so if its a hardship to spend that then I would pass,as I said its worked well for me but thats not to say that a less expensive brand wouldnt work just as well for YOU. that go's with anything. My experience as everyone else may differ. No offense taken about the difference. Its hard to capture a change in texture which is what I experienced. I hope that helps
I appreciate your review. Threefold, at first I didn't see a difference in the pics either. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that her skin was less shiney, the darkness under her eyes was gone, and her chin was no longer red. I've been looking for real-life reviews, so I'm glad to find this. One problem: I looked up the ingredients, and they contain "hydrogenated vegetable oil". Is that okay to put on your face?? Just a thought.
To Krystal: Hydrogenated vegetable fat is chemically hardened vegetable oil, as is Margarine. If you're ok eating that then the skin would be ok too.
To Lisa P: Thank you for your review. I'm considering using it and it's good to get the opinon of a "real" person rather than just the advertising.
Have you tried other face products such as Creme de la Mere. How does meaningful beauty compare to others?
I agree with Threefold, I don't see a difference in the two pics either. Krystal, the differences that you see are all caused by the difference in lighting and angle of pic. The After pic is taken lower than the face.
Hi - I read a lot of negative reviews of Meaningful Beauty After I had purchased it from infomercial. I don't understand - I got it promptly , weeks before my 50th birthday. I feeel it definitely has made my pores smaller and skin smoother and reduced the fine line wrinkles too. I have extremely sensitive skin and I often break out from moisturizers but not with this. So far after a few months, I am still very happy with it and personalized my next order to the time I wanted (i think I use less product thatn they think). thanks for letting me say I think it is a good product.
I strongly advise anyone thinking about ordering Meaningful Beauty products, to NOT order them. The products left my skin dry and rough. Getting them to stop charging your bank account is the real problem though. I'm still dealing with it and have now resorted to getting my bank to stop the charges. They simply will not stop billing me no matter how many times I have requested they cancel my account. If you want to save yourself a lot of hassle, do not order these products.
It worked for about a year for me but now I think I must have a bad batch.
Hello,
After seeing Cindy C. endorsing this product, i tought i try it myself, Cindy is gorgeous and young looking, what ever she's using to look young must be really special. I used the product for a week and i had an allergic reaction. I had hive like patches all over my face particularly my eyes. it also made my skin dry. When I stopped it, i had an aftermath reaction, my eyes swelled up and my face and neck was so itchy. I never had allergies before, but now i know how it is. Two weeks later, my skin is wringkly because it has stretched from the swelling and itching. My skin has become very dry.
I could not see any difference, in fact I had some zits from it. I called in and cancelled but never received my refund. When I called, they said that they received it too late so I would not get a refund. I used the product two weeks and returned it. I received it three weeks after I ordered it. This is a ripoff and don't buy the product because they do NOT have a 60 day guarantee and will keep your money.
I have been using Meaningful Beauty for about 4 months. Their is definately a change in my skin for the better. Some of the products do burn slightly when applied but I have found that to be the norm with my skin regardless of whose product I use. My bottom line is that everyones skin is different and its all trial and error to find what works. Get to know your own skin. Be true to what you can afford, stick to personal principles organic etc., and don't ever expect miracles from any company.
Thank you for your very informative space on this product. I think it's great to see a bulletin board with the customers' point-of-view, without editing.
All due respect to you for letting us see both sides of the story :)
Meaningful beauty is a great product. I am 40 and was really starting to look my age when I started using it and now I look like I am 30 again. No kidding.
When I first started using meaningful beauty, I loved it. It really did make my face look and feel better. But after 5 days I had a reaction. Burning, itching, redness, and my eyes swelled and the small wrinkles I have became much more prominent. After I stopped using it my entire face peeled even my eyelids. So after it cleared up i thought I'd try it again. Same thing happened. I did some research and read that some people who had the same reaction as I did were told by gunthy-renker that this was normal. Has anyone heard this before? Was wondering if it was acting like a chemical peel and then get better. I will say that I'm definitely concerned with their billing methods though. They for some reason charged me once and then a totally different amount 2 days later. I will be contacting the tomorrow to see if i can find out why. Would love to hear opinions. Thanks!
Trina,
Honestly, I use to love the meaningful products (at least the facial cleanser and moisturizer). I never really saw a difference in any of the other products. However, I stopped ordering it until recently, due to their very poor customer service and incompetent employees as they made two unauthorized withdrawals out of my checking's account and took months to return to my account. With that being said, I saw the advertisement a couple of months ago and thought I would give them another try, but instead of having the withdraw funds out of my accounts on a monthly bases, I would just purchase the advertised deal just once and then decide if I wanted to continue. I repeatedly instructed the telephone sales person to make it a one-time purchase/withdrawal for $39.00 and decline her repeated offer to make it a monthly purchase. Load and behold, I check my bank statement this Monday and saw that they had withdrawn $127.84 out of my checking again, again, without my authorization. I called their customer service depart and was informed that even though I clearly and adamantly instructed the phone sales person that this was a one-time order, that once I order, I became a Meaningful Beauty member, so that gave them the right to continue sending me their product and taking money from my account, unless, I call again to say I wanted to cancel. They also stated, "We can't help what our sales person told you". She was wrong. You can't purchase a one-time order. The kicker is that they have not yet put the money back into my account even though I refused their product and returned to sender as I did not order additional products outside of my one-time purchase. As they had not yet returned my money, I had to contact my bank to cancel my back card and file a fraudulent claim against Meaningful Beauty. Not to mention, they must have started watering down their products because my facial wash and moisturizer was so watery and did not work, so I just went back to my safe and wonderful Neutrogena products. I will never ever order neither Meaningful Beauty products nor any thing with the name Guthy Renker as she is backing this product. It is really a shame as I have been a loyal customer of Guthy Renker for over 20 years. I will never allow them access to any of my account again. They should invest a large portion of their profits to hire competent employs and send all their current employees to customer training courses.
I tried Meaningful Beauty years ago. The moisturizer irritated my skin, and I immediately stopped using it. Had no problem stopping future orders or being charged for them. The customer service agent did try to convince me not to cancel, but that's part of her job.
I would like to try the Glowing Serum, which was not part of the product line at the time. Too bad you can't purchase the products separately.
I've been using Meaningful Beauty for more than two years. The cleanser and the facial masque dries my skin out. The moisturizer and eye cream were okay. I love the glowing serum and the neck cream. Due to the expense of buying these products, I changed my package setup and the frequency they are sent to me. You can select what products you want and the timeframe in which you would like to have them sent.
I do not have a problem with allergic reactions to any products so I can't speak to that but I love the Meaningful Beauty line. I typically use Aveda products, which are also great but more expensive. I changed the product shipment dates so I don't get them as often since I think they last longer than 30 days. I also have put a stop on my program when I wanted to switch back to Aveda and see if there was a difference. I have found customer service to be great. I have no vested interest in this company (or I wouldn't have mentioned how great Aveda products are) but if you don't have sensitive skin I would give it a try.
I have been using Meaningful Beauty products for almost 2 years and love them. Iam in my mid forties and was suddenly and constantly breaking out. I never did as a teenager so when I tried these products and it worked I was overjoyed.
HOWEVER, I have had nothing but problems with cusotmer service and delivery/ordering.
I gave them my CC # and was charged for products I didn't order and charged for orders that I didn't recieve.
I changed that and only phone my orders in and pay upon delivery.
This has it's drawbacks as they are SUPER slow getting me the products.
I have waited for a shipment and called to track it only to find they hadn't shipped it yet. SUPER frustrating to say the least!
I have learned to order more than I need so that I will have enough to last till the next shippment arrives.
This hassle is just that, a hassle not to mention annoying.
I have spoken to customer service reps and managers alike. They seem inclined to blame me or they placate me.
I wouldn't normally tolerate this but I love the product and don't care what the cost.
It would be nice to see a company that is so highly endorsed (Cindy Crawford,Valerie Bertinelli)follow thru on customer service.

I toally agree with you...I don't like pushy customer service people. I called for the TV advertisement , just to try it..she tried talking me into much more...and spouted off so many different prices that I finally just said cancel teh whole thing...and hung up. Why can't you just order what the ad says and let it go at that! I am hoping I don't get charged for what i cancelled...it won't be purdy!! :)
Thank you for your blog. Although it's a no brainer that proper skin care is essential, doesn't it really boil down to genetics? Some people are just born lucky.
Thank you for posting this particular blog about Meaningful Beauty.
For years I have wanted to order the product via their infomercial. I always managed to talk myself out of it because I don't like the idea of 'automatic shipment' and the like.
Problem solved...
I purchased a 6 piece, 90 day set, for a STEAL on ebay. Automatic shipment concern avoided. I figured that I could try it, 90 days seems a good time frame, and then re-order via ebay (there's TONS of MB products available) as needed.
So, I've been using Meaningful Beauty for about a week now. I LOVE IT and noticed a difference in my skin texture immediately. In general, every time I wash my face I rush for moisturizer -regardless of what brand I've used - and this did not happen w/ MB. I was shocked. I also used their mask...WONDERFUL!
Needless to say, I'm sold. My plan of avoiding committment has paid off so far and I couldn't be happier. BTW, I'm currently bidding on the glowing serum...cross your fingers that I win @ a low price =)
Thanks again for posting such an open blog (not to mention being brave enough to put your clean face up...twice!)and allowing me the opportunity to see what others think.
I have acne-prone skin and have to be careful about what I use. I liked the products when I first got them. I started with the trial offer and everything seemed to be working okay. So, I stayed on to receive the automatic shipment. However, before it arrived (and while I was still using the trial kit), my face started breaking out. When I called customer service and pressed "2" to cancel future orders, I was put on hold. I stayed on hold for 23 minutes and decided to use another phone line to call and try something else to get ahold of someone. I called and pressed "1" to place an order. I was practically immediately connected to someone. He pulled up my account and asked what I would like to do. I told him I wanted to cancel everything and did not want to receive further shipments. I then asked him to tell me why it was that I was still on hold on a phone in my other hand when I had pressed the option to cancel the order, yet I was speaking with him after just about a minute on a different phone. He said that he could not answer that and that everyone who called regardless of the option they pressed had the same wait time. I told him I knew that was not the case since I was holding two phones in my hands at the time. I was VERY unhappy about the experience. With this situation, added to the fact my skin doesn't do well with the product, I won't be using it again.
I have been using it for 6 months and I won't buy it anymore. Don’t get swayed by the celebrity thang!
I read a very good test on the internet which has proved that there are NO wrinkle fighting ingredients in this set. Luckily nothing harmful either. Not even the mysterious melon extract can really be found.
But if Cindy wants to sell us that her skin looks young because of this she must be taking pills and halluzinate. I really don't like the cleanser, it runs through my fingers, it is soo liquid and I want my cleanser to foam or something. It is like throwing milk in your face, try to massage that in!
Thank you for your review. I have been using all of the products for 2 weeks and I do not like them. Day and night cream feel heavy and sticky. I will not use it again, they feel like a cheap product, not worth the money. I researched these products and red lots of reviews before purchasing and I am very disappointed. Don't waste your money on this.
I am 32, do not wear make up and still get carded - so my skin was in great shape to begin with - but I have noticed some aging the past few years. So I have been investigating products that will help me keep my edge as I get older.
I just started using these products a few days ago and I have noticed an immediate difference in the texture and balance of my skin.
I have also noticed an improvement of tone and color in my eye region. The hints of the crow's feet to come are less noticeable (very happy about that!).
My favorite so far is the cleanser. I do not agree with harsh cleaning of the face, and have always avoided many of the popular products. I think the less you do to your face, the better... so this cleanser is up my alley. And it makes my face feel so good - better than any product I have tried over the years.
Now remember, I have only tried these products for a few days, so I look forward to seeing how they perform over time. But so far, so good for me!
I'm a Licensed Esthetician (skin care specialist)... Bottom line, ONE product is not always good for EVERY skin type. There are so many different skin types, and that is why professional products, such as Image Skin Care, PCA Skin, and so on have multiple lines, for mature, sensitive, oily, acneic skin... You should never purchase any line of skin care until you understand what skin type It's for, or what skin type you have. Visit an esthetician.
Hi, thank you for you review , I been using he products for a month , I got my new order in time , they take the money in 3 times , I don't think 50 dollars a month is very much , a moisturizer in the drugstore cost 15 and up for a month , and you need to get all the rest . I read bad reviews about the product but at the same time where selling other creams , thank you again!!!
This company is A BIG SPAM. I did order in January and than i cancel my account and at Today they still charge my debit card!!! This is so BAD I HAVE TO GO TO THE BANK TO STOP THE TRANSATION! BE CAREFULL.. CINDY WHY YOU ARE A FACE OF THIS POOR AND SCAM COMPANY, VERY BAD DEAL FOR YOUR REPUTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with number 7. I've been using these products for years and have gotten many compliments on my skin. Although I have since stopped the orders because I've accumulated so much. I just wish there was a way to buy the product at the lower price without having to become a "member". I wonder why it's not sold in stores yet. Suze
I have had acne for my entire life... I kid you not. I have tried everything including prescription medications (not acutane however) and found that nothing worked for me long term. I am almost 30 and during my first pregnancy my skin was awful worse than high school, two years later it wasn't too much better. I tried Meaningful beauty when I was about 7 months pregnant this time and let me tell you there was a huge difference in my skin. Now I have two small girls running around and am often stressed and sleep deprived but my skin is beautiful. It's a very easy to use system and it's so quick. I like getting it in the mail because it saves me from dragging two babies to a department store. I think everyone's skin is different and will react to each product differently but as for someone who wasted thousands of dollars a year on stuff that didn't work... I am now a happy camper.
I've been using Meaningful Beauty for about 2-2 1/2 years now. I'm 38 and starting to see some annoying signs of aging. I liked what I heard on the infomercial and decided to give it a try. My original kit was great and easy to use. I loved all the products and I honestly believe I've seen a wonderful change in the appearance of fine lines and texture in my skin. I love the Glowing Serum (as others have commented). It's simply wonderful.
As for customer service...I did not like the whole bank-drain idea from the start. I was very very fortunate to have to change my debit card right about the time they were going to debit my account. Not being able to do that, they sent me a bill for the remaining amount. That being done, they have never again tried to draft my account. I pay for what I want when I order it...and that's that. The customer service people I've dealt with have been very helpful, too.
So, it might be a pain, but if you are in the position to stop payment on it or switch cards or something, do it. Then start paying as you go. It worked for me!
Just wanted to let people know you can purchase Meaningful Beauty in stores in Canada. In west Edmonton Mall By the Ice Rink. I can't remember the name of the store I think Euphoria..It's located by the enterance of Tim Hortins for 39.95. I love the product and will continue to use it..I'm 37 and still get asked for ID.lol Gotta say something..
I definitely got scammed by the customer service people and was billed for products they did not send.
DO NOT give them your credit card number, as they DO rob you.
DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!! They will constantly ship you product and charge you even if you try to cancel they will still ship you product and bill you for it to your address. In addition the product SUCKS. After I started using it, I went for a facial and my facial lady who asked what I was using on my face because it was ruining my skin!!
I will not order after I have read all of this.
Hi all , I am in mid 40's with changing skin and have wanted to try for a while...I also hate that autoship stuff- I tried that Sheer Cover and experienced all that holding on line- What I am doing is buying the smaller sizes (still new) from ebay. This way if I like GREAT if not- I am not inconvenienced. I s/b rec'ing some this week- will keep you posted
I was able to get my hands on this product from a friend of mine. She has been using it and had extra from her auto ship so she threw some my way. I gotta say I like it. I will be 40 this year. The glowing serum is hands down my favorite. But I also love the eye cream/eye serum and the cleanser. I don't think its overpriced when you compare going and buying everything individually at the store. When I use this up, I am ordering my own. I really, really like it.
This stuff doesn't work!! In a magazine interview, Cindy Crawford has admitted to getting plastic surgery and injections!! She's a phony...it wasn't this stuff that's making her look good. Don't waste your money!!
The stuff is worthless, and the service is awful, they won't honor refunds. Such a scam!
I was going to give this product a go, but after reading all of the reviews...no way! I read an interview on Cindy Crawford and she admitted to vitamin injections and Botox since she was 29 years old. I dont think this product would make you 20 years younger.
I have been using these products for three weeks--I ordered the introductory kit. I have to say that I was also skeptical. I like the products so far. I will be ordering the toner as well since I am used to using one. I have seen a difference with pore sizes and also the shinny cheeks after the Noon hour. My skin feels soft and more even toned. I will continue to give it a try for the next 90 days and see what results I accomplish. Usually skin will react to new products whether favorably or unfavorably but the true results are not seeing after 30-45 days.
When I lived in the South of France I used to buy those famous Meaningful Beauty melons from the farmers market. Guess what? They do age(rot) just like other melons that are not eaten and become overly ripe. What a scam!!!!
i just ordered this product today, i hope i don't run into some of the problems people seem to be having with it. I am a mother of 6 and am 30 years old. Although my husband tells me i don't look my age i am starting to notice wrinkles and crows feet near my eyes. I'm hoping for the best
Hi, I've been using Meaningful Beauty for a few weeks now and I am happy with the product. I love the day and night cream because they last and I can already see a change in my skin. I have very large pores on my face and they have seemed to become smaller - I haven't tried the mask yet, but plan on it soon. I am 32 and live in Texas where the sun is blinding and need to invest in sunglasses. I squint like crazy and has caused wrinkles in my forehead and eyes! Haven't noticed a change in wrinkles, but keeping my fingers crossed. I don't expect a miracle, just a little change. Overall, my skin is softer and no longer dry, so that is a PLUS!
I have not tried to cancel or end the three month shipments, so I cannot comment on this. However, like any company that auto ships products to you... Shame on them! They would make their customers a lot happier if they could order when needed. The voot company is the same way!
I honestly like the products and will continue purchasing them until I have problems. Thank you so very much for your blog!
I've been using the products for well over six months and have had fantastic results, particularly with my eyes.
I'm now 53, and in recent years I was starting to wake up with that bug-eyed look. My eyes would get just so swollen and my upper lids would droop...and it would stay that way all day!
I can honestly say that with MB, I have not had a SINGLE DAY of puffy eyes using their basic eye cream.
And my overall complexion has definitely brightened, and I haven't even used the skin brightener yet (that's coming in my next order).
I'm not a shill for the company...just a real gal who wanted to tout the real thing. If you write to me, I can direct you to my own blog.
For me, Meaningful Beauty has lived up to its claims.
Well, I have good news for you ladies that have a Sephora store near you. I've recently been in my JCPenney's store with a Sephora outlet inside and low and behold they sell Meaningful Beauty. Although I haven't seen all the product line sold there. Warning: the products are marked up quite a bit so be prepared to pay $30 or more for one bottle of product. Hope this helps!
I started using the products 2 weeks ago. I love them!! Some products work better than others of course. The best invention since the wheel.... The little capsules. They are tiny but have enough for my entire face and neck!! The folks that complain about the payments on other sites - need to make sure they put this on a credit card not a debit card. This way if GunthybRenker tries to bill you for what you don't order ou make sure you tell them if they don't fix the situation you will call the credit card company and dispute the charges. Good luck trying to collect then. But if you handle it well, you should have no problems. Great products for me.
I have been using the MB system for just over a month now and am extremely pleased. I'm 35 with combination/oily skin.
I was worried that the cleanser would be too mild and the moisturizers too thick but my skin actually looks less oily. The fine lines around my eyes and forehead are def diminished. My skin just looks so much healthier.
It's not perfect but a huge improvement.
The mask is my favorite product. Glowing serum a close second.
Also, two weeks after I ordered the product I still had not received it. I called customer service who informed me it was on back order. I was pretty miffed that they did not send an email to notify me of this. They appologized and sent me full size bottles of the cleanser, moisturizer and glowing serum at no charge! I got my starter kit a week later.
Once you receive the product you can easily change the shipping frequency yourself on the website without having to wait on hold for a customer service agen.
I have been using this product for about 2 weeks now, and I find it absolutely wonderful. my fine lines are disappearing and my skin is looking very rejuvenated. I did have an issue at the beginning with some break out, but as time went on my skin cleared. the issue with the cleanser not foaming is actually a good thing, if you do research on why cleansers foam, you will learn that it is actually a chemical in the cleanser that causes the foaming action, which is not good for your skin. I did the research after I bought a cleansing product from Arbonne, it did not foam at all and I was concerned about this because of the misconception that cleanser should foam. I will now only use a cleansing product that does not have the foaming chemical in it.
I have been using meaningful beauty for about 4 weeks now (i started with the trial offer), too early to determine if there are truly any changes to my skin yet.
let me say I am 35, black and have combination skin (mostly oily especially over the T-zone of my face).
I have decided to cancel the subscription, the reason for this is simple, I find that the products are very oily generally.
I have always had trouble skin that breaks out regularly and have the remnant dark spots from over the years.
I will say that I LOVE the way my skin feels BUT the way it looks is oily, like I have been standing out in the sun for 4 hours when I have just washed my face and applied the products. So for a breakdown
The skin softening cleanser is nice, I like the way my skin feels after that, and i don't mind that it doesn't foam since it does the job, but that is about it.
I purchased the toner and that's where the addition of oil begins. after using the toner there is a noticeable sheen on my skin
next is the anti-oxidant day cream, it has the consistency (and smell) of a regular sunblock as well as the SHINE, I don't generally use a face powder but i have had to start using one, because there is no way i can go out in public with the shine that it leaves on my face and with time out in the sun and my skin producing the usual oil that it does I can mop it off with a sponge (not pretty)
Because of the uneven pigmentation of my skin I also purchased the skin brightening treatment which also adds a layer of oil
the glowing serum i tried once and will never use again, I put it on and "glowed" alright, i don't think it was an allergic reaction because it didn't have the associated burning tingling or warning, but my skin took on this orangeish hue and was about a shade darker which quickly went away about 2 days later, it wasn't unsightly but definitely noticeable, i wondered if it was like a sunless tanning application (I am black so i generally don't need a tan)
Both eye serums that I got in the package (lifting eye cream and eye enhancing serum) both burned my eyes (with and without my contact lenses) so i definitely wont be using those either.
the night cream is also oily but since i can use it before bed i don't mind it, and it does leave a nice texture and the pores on my skin do appear a bit smaller
the deep cleansing masque is really REALLY nice
So in a nutshell, I would used the cleanser as well as the deep cleansing masque and possibly the night cream regularly all the other ones I wouldn't
I contacted the customer service centre to cancel my subscription and they seemed to be helpful and said that they would cancel it. I had also opted in for the vitamins so i wanted to cancel that as well, the proportion of each is WAY WAY too much for daily use, i had to call another number to get it done. I have to see now whether or not i will get a recurring bill like so many people, but as a precaution i am going to contact my bank and tell them to block any transactions from meaningful beauty.
I hope the review helped
