So little can mean so much at the Holidays
I wanted to take a minute to put a bug in you my readers ears. Times are so super tough this year for all of us. No matter what your job is the economy has and will continue to affect us all, but please try to take a minute to be thankful for all that you have.
The little things mean so much to those without! Can you afford to give $15.00? I am sure you can before thanks giving. With less then $15.00 I was able to buy an entire turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, and Butter.
This is enough to feed a family at thanksgiving and when combined with other donations will feed a lot of hungry grateful people. If you cant afford to spend anything give your time that is appreciated too.
Okay off my soapbox, its easy to get caught up in our won lives but if you have a roof over your head and food in your belly you are better off then a lot of people this year.

So well said, and when you break it down like that, most of us can afford to do at least that much!
You are so right! And it means the world to those who are without.
So true! I'm actually donating instead of having a garage sale pre-holidays! I don't need the money as much as somebody as needs things for their xmas and homes!
You are very very kind.
What a great post for a great cause!
Right now i have the least i've had in a long time...just a mattress on the floor and thankfully a tv and laptop. But I am content and realize I don't really need much to be happy.
Very true. We just finished packing two shoeboxes full of necessities and toys for Samaritan's Purse. Those kids will so thrilled, and for us it really was not much to do at all. It really puts into perspective how commercial this holiday season is here.
I have donated can goods to our school's food drive. I'm also donating toys to Santa's helpers. I know every little bit helps and I'm thankful to be able to do it.
Thanks for this post! Its a great reminder!
