Green Mountain Coffee Company, and Keurig Coffee Brewers a great combo!

l Love coffee, no I mean I REALLY LOVE Coffee. To me Coffee is the nectar of the earth I even get my water intake from drinking coffee honestly! If someone told me I had to give up coffee or die it would be a tough choice! I gave up my smokes but don't ask me to give up my true pleasure.

Its is important to me that my coffee be of excellent quality. I will be nice at your home when you offer me a brand that can be bought in a resealable plastic tub, but I will not enjoy it! The taste, the aroma, the perfect temperature these are what make a cup of freshly brewed cup of gourmet coffee my weakness.

This being said I am always looking for a new favorite brew, always searching for the next Java flavor of the month in my home! If a Coffee company knows what they are doing it shows in their product! Not all Coffee's are created equal, all though I am an equal opportunity Coffee lover (with the exception of the cheap, watery, are you kidding me you call this coffee? Coffee brands.)

I will not feel guilt for spending money on a quality cup of coffee, nor will I feel badly if I fall in love with a particular machine if said machine assure me a great tasting cup of Coffee every time!

Let me introduce you to Green Mountain Coffee Company. I was excited to have the opportunity to work with this outstanding company on this review.

Quick Bio

Green Mountain Coffee company was started in a small Cafe in Waitsfeild Vermont, then went public in 1993. This company now employs over 1400 employees and has its headquarters in Waterbury Vermont. In addition to the Green Mountain Label they also produce Tully's Coffee, and the Keurig Business unit.

What is so special about Green Mountain Coffee Company, Well to me first thing they are from Vermont! I used to live in Bennignton Vermont and I still feel big ties to that state! Second Corporate Social Responsibility! Meaning to me the more they make the more they share, they allocate 5% of their pre-tax earnings to social and environmental causes. Also transparency! I want to know what a company is doing not just in product but fiscally and they make a lot of it available on their website for you to see! No hiding here.

Ok now that I have told you about the company now onto the products, yep the Coffee, and the Brewer the all mighty Keurig. I know that probably sounds odd to some of you but to me its a good description. Your Coffee even if its the best in the world will only be as good as your Brewer allows it to be. Does this mean a regular Drip Machine doesn't do a good job? Well yes and no. A Drip Brewer is fine for most, but if you are a true lover of Coffee then you can appreciate a machine that gives you a fresh, quick, delicious cup of Coffee at the touch of a button.

Sure there are a lot of one cup single serve brewers on the market, I even own another the Senseo. The Senseo had its days. In my opinion it opened the door for the masses to try a single serve machine. It however again in my opinion has had its time and needs to retire.

The Senseo machines takes a long time to ready, holds little water (really If I make a large cup I have to refill it constantly) and is loud . It does have prefilled Coffee pods but they are only of their own brand. The pods are pricey as well and you need two for a good size cup. You can use your favorite Coffee with an adapter but it is not without cost as you still have to buy special paper filters to line the adapter. The adapter itself clogs as well if the grind is not right.Like I said it had its day.

Now the time Belongs to Keurig. This is the new better way to enjoy a fresh hot cup of Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate any time of day with the push of a button! Unlike the Senseo you can enjoy over 200 selections from 13 gourmet brands that are prepackaged in ready to use K-Cups just for your machine.

K-Cups are perfectly proportioned, sealed, fresh product! You may purchase your own reusable My K-Cup should you have a particular brand that does not make prepackaged K-Cups so no worries. K-Cups and the Keurig Brewers allow you to enjoy a gourmet cup of Coffee in less the a minute. You will save money because of less waste, and even more so if you are a Coffee House Coffee snob! Hahah no more spending upwards of $2.00 per cup for a regular Cup of Coffee, even more if you like those "Specialty" Coffee drinks.

Keurig Brewing is different from other one cup/pouch type brewers, their K-Cups and Brewer work with a pressure system. This simply means there is a certainly amount of Coffee and the right amount of pressurized water to be able to extract the optimal amount of flavor from your Coffee.

Keurig Machines come in different sizes, capacities, and price tags that can work for everyone. The smallest is the Mini Personal Brewer and retails for $89.95 and go's all the way up to the Breville with a retail of $249.95.

I received the Keurig Special Edition to review along with an assortment of Green Mountain K-Cups. You actually Get a free 12 count K-Cup Variety pack in your box! So you can enjoy a cup within minutes of unpacking your new friend.

hahaha) varieties so that I could share my opinion of those as well.

Fair Trade Wild Mountain Blueberry Yeah I know Blueberry but it is a very nice cup of Coffee! The aroma is so yummy and there is only a hint of a flavor so no need to worry about it being overwhelming. The brew it self if what I would consider medium with a nice Coffee flavor but not strong. Oh and its Fair trade!!

Breakfast Blend Yes this is a light blend and it does taste that way to me. It is not watery or lack flavor but it really is not bold enough to appease me hahah. It does have a nice semi sweet aroma and I think it would be a great brew for the occasional Coffee drinker or those who want it on the light side.

There are so many Coffee choices to pick and choose from at Green Mountain Coffee it will boggle the mind, Flavored varieties, Seasonal favorites, and don't forget the yummy Hot Chocolate and Teas!

Now onto the Keurig machine. Is it possible to be in love with an inanimate object? I think so or at the very least very infatuated! This is how I feel about the Keurig Special Edition B60 Brewer. I have said it 100 times and let me say it once more this is a thing of beauty to a Coffee lover! This is the Cadillac of the single serve brewing world and for good reason it makes a fantastic cup of Coffee. This machine is programmable BIG plus! How nice to be able to set the clock, set an brew time, set a cup under the spout and go to bed! What a nice thing to wake up to a fresh cup of Joe all ready to go. You can even set the machine to go off after a certain amount of time!

There are three cup sizes to chose from 5.25oz, 7.25oz, and 9.25oz. I don't know about you but I am not the dainty Tea cup type, nope I used those big mugs. Even if you want to use this to fill a travel mug just select the 9.25oz size and remove the stainless steel drip tray for extra room.

You can adjust brew temperature! Try doing that with your Senseo or Drip Machine hahah. This is awesome I like my brew HOT but if you prefer it cooler or need to adjust it for the kids Hot Chocolate its a great option to have.

Large 48 oz water reservoir. How frustrating when you want to have a cup of Coffee and you need to refill the reservoir with every cup! Never again I am super pleased about this convenience!

Quick ready time 3 minutes from being turned on, and less then a minute from start to finish in brewing, and its QUIET. oh yes its super quiet compared to the Senseo, this you will see below in my video head to head!

Aesthetics yes looks are important! You keep your coffee maker on your counter top so it should be attractive as well as not be so big that it looks as though it belongs in a Coffee Shop! The Keurig is a great size. The dimensions are 11" wide, 13" deep, 13.5" tall. This machine will fit right into your kitchen with its black with shiny Chrome details and a Blue back lit display and glow.

I wanted you to see just how lovely this machine is! I really wish you could all come over for a cup but since you cant I put together a video head to head with my Senseo and the Keurig.

**It was super hard to limit myself to the 10 minute time limit for Youtube, I did some creative editing, Also please pardon my voice I have an Upper Respiratory/Sinus infection. However I wanted to get this information out to you prior to your Holiday shopping being done Hint, Hint**

Bottom line if you are a coffee lover, tea drinker or even someone who does a lot of entertaining Keurig Coffee Brewers certainly have a lot to offer over other home Coffee Brewers. I give Green Mountain Coffee Company and Keurig a big thumbs up for sure. If you have read my reviews then you know I don't gush over everything I review, in fact I usually point out at least one thing whether it be aesthetic or function that I would like to see improved, but in all honesty I cant find even one thing that I feel needs improvement in this Machine or the Green Mountain Coffee. Having some Hot Chocolate K-Cups in the included K-cup sample pack would be nice, but nothing else that I can think of would make this any better then it already is.

I received a Keurig Special Edition brewer and its sampler pack of K-cups along with a sample pack of extra Bold Green Mountain K-cups for the purpose of writing this review. I did not receive and additional monetary compensation for this review. My Opinions are my own and honest!

This is exactly why we got a Keurig. My husband drinks coffee, but I don't. He was stopping at Dunkin Donuts almost every morning on his way to work. Since he's a logistician I had to do the cost analysis of the coffee if we got a Keurig. It came out to like 70 cents a cup I think (or close to it). He drinks the Greem Mountain Breakfast Blend coffee a lot. I drink the hot chocolate.

I have been thinking of getting a Kuerig. I spend so much money at Dunkin Donuts because I don't want the hastle of making a pot just for me. Great review, makes me want to try one even more!

I love Keurig! I have to make my coffee darker, but its cool that each cup is individualized to the drinker.

I had been trying to win a Keurig from a blog giveaway for a long time and after being the big loser, I finally went out and purchased one! No regrets here, I love my Keurig. I hear Green Mountain just came out (or is coming out) with a Donut Shop type coffee in k-cups, I'm interested in those.

I love my Keurig so much that we bought stock in the company! I figured we might as well buy the stock because we keep buying Keurigs to give as gifts.
