Today I have a rant.. a rant about online coupons
Yes you heard me online coupons! While I do love them I really do I am getting irked at the way manufactures keep putting out offer some that really rock.
Huh? why am I upset over that? Well because no stores in my area take BOGO, or FREE Internet printed coupons! It is so frustrating not being able to take advantage of these great deals!
Another thing that really pushes my buttons is coupons that rock and that I could use only to find out they aren't really there. What I mean by this is sign up with a company to wait for an email with a great coupon, get the email click on the link only to find the coupon is no longer available!
What?? Really how is that good business? That's makes me so mad that I will boycott at times.
Companies... I want to use your coupons, I want to try your products, I want to like them so much that I will continue to buy them even with out coupons but you need to make that possible.
Understand that most stores do not accept High Value, BOGO, or FREE Internet printable coupons due to fraud. I understand it is easier and cheaper for you BUT if the majority of your customer base cannot utilize them and are skipping your product is that making your bottom line any better?

Following from MBC. I agree, most stores here don't take the free ones either.
Oh I hear ya, girlfriend! I shop at Giant, and they just recently stopped accepting BOGO printables :( So disappointing!
New follower from MBC!!
Hi there...thanks for stopping by and following my blog. I agree with your post. I stopped printing them since they usually won't accept them. I do shortcuts.com on my Safeway card and I go online and add them...it's automatic. All stores should do something like that!
Many stores here try and give me a hard time. I must give them the look of death or something, because they tend to cave and say OK, but....next time.
I go right back. My coupons are legit and I expect them to be honored.
I would definitely complain to the corporate offices. I couldn't live without my coupons... In fact I just blogged about it today. I had some problems with my bogos, but otherwise I love my printables. Complaining to corporate does help!
Last I checked the Kroger in my area wouldn't take them either but Wal-Mart would (but that was before my printer died, lol).
I"ve had the same experience, but then I started printing those coupons in color and didn't have any more problems. If they are black and white, then yes, you could just xerox them, but in color they at least look authentic. If you use photo paper or shiny paper, all the better!
I hear you!! I hate online/internet printed coupons. Stores around here make it VERY difficult for us to use them. So what's the point to offer online coupons if no stores take them?
We are lucky here. Most places will take them, but some won't.
